Michael Murphy's Daughter Addison

Michael Murphy's daughter, Addison, was in the water at Satellite Beach, FL, on June 30, 2022, when she felt something hit her leg. She looked down and saw a 9 ft shark, and then the shark bit her upper right calf as she tried to punch and fight the shark off. Luckily her brother Rhett was there, as he is a Fireman, and was able to get the shark off and pull her into the boat. He immediately applied a tourniquet, and a helicopter transported her to the nearest Hospital. She came in with no pulse, and Physicians were able to save her, but her right leg, just above the knee, was amputated a few days later. As of December, she is still being fitted for a prosthetic and attending physical therapy. Any amount that can assist Michael and his family in paying for the ongoing medical expenses would be greatly appreciated by the family.
