Michael was the loving father of one and a step-up dad to Liz, whom he took in as his own when she was just six years old. In a tender moment she never forgot, he asked if she would call him "Dad." From that day on, he lived up to the name in every way that mattered.

He was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren and a joyful great-grandfather to one. His presence was steady and kind — the kind of man who showed up, supported quietly, and loved deeply.

Professionally, Michael was a mechanical engineer who played a significant role in designing early versions of the catalytic converter for unleaded petrol, helping to reduce harmful emissions at a time when environmental awareness was just beginning to grow. His innovative work even led to a television appearance, though he never sought the spotlight for himself. He was content knowing that his work made a difference, even if few knew his name.

Now, as we prepare to say our final goodbyes, our family is facing the difficult reality that we cannot afford to fund the funeral on our own. We want to honor Michael’s life with the dignity, respect, and love he gave so freely to others.
