Michael (Mishey) MacCuish

We the family and friends of Michael (Mishey) Maccuish, are looking for your support. Mishey is a 69 yr old retired  father, grandfather & great grandfather, who lives for his children and their families. He worked at the Sydney Steel Plant for 30 years, raising his 2 beautiful daughters with his late wife Lorraine. The love of his life passed at a young age from a brain anuerysm, his daughter faught & beat breast cancer, he fought & beat lung cancer 12 yrs ago and he has been battling diabetes for years. Last month, Mishey  had a wound on his foot, that became severely infected, causing sepsis and an emergency trip to Halifax for a leg amputation. He is currently in CBRH awaiting rehab in Sydney Mines, and then he will be coming home. This is where you all come in....we are looking to renovate his home to be handicap accessible, where he can safely return to continue to live his life and cook those Sunday dinners for his wonderful family, that he so much enjoys.
