Michael Milan & his sons

With deep regret, we grieve the loss of Michael Milan. He passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 13th, 2021. Michael was a beloved brother, son, uncle, cousin, friend, and a caring father. He leaves behind his two children Elijah (12) and Christian (10).

Michael was a kind and creative spirit. He was a very talented artist using various mediums and always encouraged his boys with their art. In recent years Michael worked with leather. He taught his boys about leather and encouraged them to help with projects.

When asked what they’ll miss about their dad, Elijah and Christian shared they’ll miss his warm bear hugs, jokes and sense of humour, and learning new things from him. Helping their dad cook (he made legendary chili), creating art, learning about computers and technology, and how to fish this past summer were all things they enjoyed together.

We created this page to raise funds for Elijah and Christian. With Michael’s financial support now gone, we would like to help the children and their mother through this challenging time. Donations will be put into RESPs for Elijah and Christian and help make up for some of the lost financial support Michael had provided his family. Please help us care for this family in this small way as they move forward without Michael.

He will be missed by his community here in the Edmonton area and by his family and friends who live locally and across the country. We hope this GoFundMe campaign will help create a foundation of support for his children now and into the future.
