Hi, my names Mike, I’m writing this on behalf of myself and my sister, Katrina.
Tragically, our dad died outside Waitrose in Havant on Thursday 12th June 2025.
His death is still being investigated by the coroner and Police and we hope to have a report detailing the lead up to and the cause of his death in due course.
*UPDATE*
*His body has now been released from the coroner, his funeral is on the 29th July at 13:00 at The Oaks Crematorium.*
Our dad had a larger than life character, you’d often hear him before seeing him! He was a cheeky chap with an infectious grin and a big heart. Some would say, a loveable rouge.
He would do his best to help anyone, including those with bad intentions.
In the lead up to his death, he was targeted by certain groups within LeighPark and Havant, this lead to serious injuries requiring him having lengthy hospital stays and treatment.
Our dad was registered as a vulnerable adult with the Police, yet these people still continued to harass and frequent his property to use and abuse him, up until the night before his death and possibly, the morning of his passing.
His sudden death has caused shockwaves within the family. He was a much loved brother, father, uncle, great uncle, cousin, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be sorely missed.
As you can imagine, there are many questions surrounding his death and the wait for the thorough investigations to conclude is challenging. However, we want no stone left unturned and understand that this will take time.
We’re asking, can you help us raise monies towards his funeral? Any donations are gratefully received and will help alleviate the financial pressure and stress during this difficult time.
In addition to this, if you saw our dad, Micky White in Havant or Leigh Park on the morning of Thursday 12th June, have any dash cam footage of him, or any information, no matter how small, please make contact with the Police on 101 quoting crime reference number 44250257426.
Thank you,
Mike, Katrina and family.
