I’m reaching out to ask for your support in creating a memorial bench for my Grandad - Michael McInerney SNR. He was a man of great character, always giving back to the community and inspiring those around him.

A passionate runner, he loved road races, Parkrun and encouraging others to lead active lives. His dedication to running and charitable efforts have made a significant impact on many.

We would like to place a bench along the Parkrun route where my grandad spent so much time within his later years. Parkrun was my Grandad’s happy place, what he looked forward to each week and where he made so many memories with family and friends. The bench will provide a spot for us all to remember my Grandad and share memories of him.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help us ensure that his memory continues to live on.
