On October 10, 2023, Michael was admitted into the hospital for mycoplasma pneumonia. Since that time, he has been life flighted to a different hospital for specialized care, put into a medically-induced coma, and intubated.

Now, a month later, he is finally able to sit up, talk and text. While we are thankful he is healing, Michael still has a long road to recovery ahead including in-patient physical rehab. Michael will need to relearn how to do everyday tasts like swallow after being ventilated for almost three weeks and walk due to muscle atrophy after being bed ridden.

We are relying on your generosity to help with the mulitude of medical bills and medical care as well as expenses due to missing income.
