On Wednesday, July 31, 2025, our son, Michael Lukken, was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident while on his way to a work-related event. During the drive, Michael suffered a stroke and seizure, which led to the accident.
He is currently being treated at University Hospital in Madison for a Cerebral Venous Thrombosis and Superior Sagittal Sinus Thrombosis. Michael is in the care of an exceptional team of neurologists, nurses, and medical professionals who are working tirelessly to support his recovery.
Michael serves as the president of the Sun Prairie Killer Bees Hockey Team and is deeply loved by his family, friends, and community. At this time, we humbly ask for your prayers—for Michael, for those who love him, and for the dedicated caregivers supporting him.
The specialized care Michael is receiving may result in overwhelming medical expenses. We are asking for financial support to help ease this burden so that Michael can focus entirely on healing—without the added stress of medical costs.
With love, his parents, Tammi Phillips and Terry Lukken.
