Michael Lopez Support

Hi, my name is Breanna and although it feels like an eternity it has only been 8 days since my families life was flipped upside down. My brother, Michael, was admitted to the hospital with severe liver complications. He is currently in West LA Veteran Hospital working with a team of doctors. The details of his condition remain unstable and prayer is greatly appreciated as his situation and condition require a great deal of urgency.

Our parents and I live in SB county (approx. 2 hours from his home in Ventura and approx. 3 hours from the VA hospital) and we are humbly requesting financial assistance for travel expenses as well as moving expenses for my brother. Our aim is to bring him closer to us when he is released from the hospital. Additionally our father remains out of work every day that he travels to visit his son. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are overwhelmed by the love of our family and friends. We will remain steadfast in prayer and gratitude as we navigate the intricacies of these trying moments.

Today, my big brother Michael passed away surrounded by his loving and devoted family. My brother passed as a sober man. A man who clung to Christ - a changed man who professed his utter dependency on His grace and mercy. God and my brother have given me more than I could have asked for and God has been good all the time. It was mine and my husband, David's privilege and honor to have cared and fought for him these last two months. Michael and our family put it ALL out on the table. Michael spoke about wanting God to be glorified no matter the outcome and He has been. We are comforted by so many precious memories with him and everybody who has expressed love for him and his life. He would want me to tell you: repent, know, believe, and entrust your souls to the Almighty. I know that because it was the last note he wrote to himself. Love you forever, Big Bro.
