On October 24th Michael Klaman, a Whitney High School senior was involved in an accident on his motorcycle. Michael suffered major injuries to both legs and both arms. Michael is beginning his long road to recovery and needs the support if his friends, school and community as he faces the many challenges ahead. Please join Whitney High School as we help Michael and his family with the many challenges and expenses
they will face along Michael's journey to recovery.
Update 11/28/16:
Many of you have already given and helped support one of our Whitney students Michael Klaman. Michael was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in late October. Micheal suffered major injuries which included a broken arm, major blood loss, a shattered leg and an amputated left foot. While Michael's injures were major and life threatening at the time he has made leaps and bounds in his recovery over the past month. Michael is currently at a rehabilitation center in Auburn, CA where he will be for the next few months while he stregnthens his body and relearns how to walk again. Michale has set two large goals for him self this year. First he wants to return to Whitney and cross the graduation stage with his fellow Class of 2017 classmates and second, he wants to get his body well enough to drive a car again as it is one of his favorite hobbies.
We want to thank you for helping us reach towards our goal of raising $10,000 to help the Klaman family and as they shift gears to rehabilitation we ask that you please share Michael’s story and encourage others to support us make the final approach to the $10,000 goal.
