Hello, My name is Shanekia. This is something that I’ve dreaded and having to put my pride to the side to even have to do this, is killing me softly. But this isn’t about me. Some of you may know that by the grace of God that My Father and I were reunited back in Aug 2019. I received legal guardianship of him in December 13, 2019 and he moved in with me January of 2020. We were inseparable ever since. If you saw me you saw him. Everyone knew how I felt about my father. Sadly and devastating, I found my father deceased in his bedroom, lying flat on his face at the door. My father had a heart attack. I’m so sick about it. I know in life we only have one guarantee and that will be the end of life itself. Even though you are never prepared for this, I tried to prepare. We have an Insurance policy however, because it has not matured to full two years they are giving me a hard way to go and do not want to pay out the policy. I don’t understand how Insurance companies can do this to people. I’ve never missed a payment. But because it’s only been a little over a year it’s contestable they say. I try my hardest never to be in a position where I have to ask for anything, let alone help to put my loved one away. Arrangements were made, but couldn’t be finalized.

Humbly, I am asking for help please, from family/friends etc. to assist me in having funeral services for my Dad. Anything helps!
