Michael Johnson-Victim of El Paso Shooting

Hello. My name is Cassandra Polk, a cousin of the Minifee/Johnson family. I have organized this fundraiser with the expressed permission of the family.

 

Army Veteran Michael Johnson was the victim of a senseless act of violence. He was shot multiple times and left critically wounded at the El Paso Bar Shooting on December 5, 2021, which resulted in the death of 1 person and three wounded. 

During this time, we are asking for any donations to help with his medical and rehabilitation expenses as he has been in the hospital and will continue to be for some time. Also, given the traumatic nature of this event, these donations will help his family tremendously, as they stay by his side and comfort him during this time of healing. 

Any amount will help Michael and his family immensely.

 

The funds raised will go toward the following:

• Any medical cost to include out-of-state spine specialists.

• Travel funds for Michael and the family.

• To help cover loss of income and possible unpaid leave his family may experience to care for Michael as he recovers
