The world is quieter and heavier without him in it, because he was the kind of man who made life better just by being present.

Above everything else, Michael- John was an extraordinary father. Ashlyn and Jameson were his entire world, his pride, his joy, and his greatest purpose. The love he had for his children was fierce, unconditional, and unwavering. He lived for them, protected them, and poured his whole heart into being the best dad he could be. To Ashlyn, he was a constant source of strength and comfort. To Jameson, he was a role model, a hero, and a guiding light. The love he gave them is something that will never fade; it lives on in who they are and who they will become.
