Michael James Clabaugh and Mirinda Taylor
On January 29, 2019,At 5:15 PM, on January 19th, a woman under the influence lost control of her vehicle driving into the side of parked cars at the Sinclair gas station in Hooper. Mike Clabaugh was out of his vehicle in between the 2 parked cars. The force of the crash caused both vehicles to move over 12 feet, the first vehicle smashing into the second vehicle crushing Mikes body between them. Mike Clabaugh is an extraordinary man that has overcome several back surgeries prior to this incident, he has been nicknamed the "Bionic Bear" by his friends and the medical community due to him being such a fighter and his speedy recoveries. At the time of the accident, Mike was just starting to get his quality of life back. Mike at this moment is paralyzed from the neck down with only hopes to recover. Mike is a family man with a young daughter Justice age 6, and wife Mirinda who is currently expecting a child in March of this year.
