My father Michael Joseph Horta was a beloved father, husband, son, friend, loving uncle and co-worker. Michael was the type of ruggedly humorous person that was always trying to put a smile on peoples faces. Michael was a Proud Navy Veteran and advocate for veterans. It hurts me to say my father passed away unexpectedly in his sleep last night 7/2/18 at the early age of 50.  Those of you who knew my father knew he was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back and his last dollar without question. My father was the kind of person that was always there for anybody that needed him.. family.. friends.. coworkers.. fellow vets. He was a simple hard working man that always provided for his family and whoever needed him. His selfless acts and giving nature will forever be a testament of his beautiful soul. 

We respectfully request donations for his final expenses. All donations will be used towards his arrangements in the days to follow.
