My dad passed away Monday. He left behind no life insurance and no money. I'm struggling to come up with money for his cremation, and to keep up his mortgage and utility payments while I'm sorting out what to do with his home. I have the option of not claiming his body, in which case the state will cremate and dispose of him, but I wont get his remains back if I do that. I really want to place his ashes with his brother. I wouldn't normally ask for help but since these are extraordinary circumstances, I'm setting my pride aside. Thank you in advance for any donation you can make so I can lay my father to rest and hopefully get his house settled so I don't lose that, too.
