My brother, Mike, spent his life giving to others.  He was an active volunteer in the community as well as his kid’s schools, often volunteering to chaperone or help out on school field trips or volunteering at Church.  He worked with youth as a youth pastor, pastor, soccer coach, band parent, and robotics volunteer. 

Mike was 48 when he passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2018 and, unfortunately, had not put together financial plans to cover his unforeseen funeral expenses.  His four kids, Gabe, Brooke, KyAnne, and Nathanael, ranging in age from 15 to 25, are now responsible for the costs required to bury their dad.

I am putting this GoFundMe page together on behalf of Mike’s kids in an effort to offset the burden of the funeral expenses they will incur during this holiday season.  Any funds received above and beyond the cost of the funeral arrangements, will be split evenly between his kids.

As an Uncle, I am very proud of how my nieces and nephews have been handling the loss of a loved one during the holiday season.  Mike’s kids appreciate any amount that you can give as they negotiate the planning of his service and moving forward during the holiday season without their dad. No amount is too small.
