Michael Hilberath's Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Franz Hilberath. On January 9th, a tragic accident occurred when my 65-year-old father, Michael Hilberath, fell from a 20-foot high roof, landing on his face upon a glass and cast iron table.

The fall caused severe trauma to his face and upper body, resulting in lacerations that have drastically affected his vision and use of his eyes. He also suffered multiple facial and jaw fractures. Despite his resilience, these injuries have likely permanently impacted his ability to work and necessitate several surgeries, leading to considerable out-of-pocket expenses. The most urgent need is for surgery to save his vision and facial reconstruction.

I am humbly reaching out for support to help with these medical costs. Unfortunately, our insurance is not covering many of these essential treatments, and we need to act swiftly.

My dad has always been my hero. My childhood fascination with him inspired my early writing endeavors, where he was often the central character. I've always admired him, aspiring to emulate his strength and character. It's heart-wrenching to see him in this condition, and my only wish is to ensure he receives the best possible care to aid his recovery, both physically and emotionally.
