Michael Hertzberg's fight against brain cancer.

If you know Michael- Mike- Hertz-Hertzberg, you know a few things for sure: he loves a good glass of bourbon, his cat is his sidekick (shout out to Her Majesty Ms. Mamapants), and there's nothing more important to him than his friends and family. Very recently he received the overwhelming diagnosis of a glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-moving brain cancer.

Despite the devastating news, Michael is determined to fight this with all he's got. His spirit is strong, his humor intact, and his heart full of hope. But this battle will not be fought alone. Between treatments, travel, medical bills, and time away from work, the financial toll is heavy — and that’s where we come in.

My name is Emily, and I've had the privilege of knowing Michael for over 10 years. He's been a great friend, and I'm starting this GoFundMe because I want to help support Michael during this incredibly difficult time, and I know many others care deeply about him too.
