Michael Hawkins memorial

As many of you know, Michael Hawkins(28 years old) tragically lost his life along with his father, Chris Hawkins(50 years old) on August 18th, 2021 during a family vacation he was attending at Oak Island, North Carolina with his sister Amber Hawkins and a couple of close family friends. Due to the sudden loss of both Chris and Michael, I am coming to you and asking for any donations to help the family with the funeral expenses. Michael was a truck driver who previously changed trucking companies and with that change any insurance that he had expired leaving the family in charge of all expenses of his memorial along with the expenses of his father’s memorial. If you knew Michael, you instantly loved him. His smile was contagious and lit up any room that he was in. He was always looking for ways to help anyone anyway that he could. I hope as a community we can come together and imitate the generous, giving spirit that Michael was during his time here with us. Even if you are unable to donate during this hard time, I ask that you share this because you never know who’s heart it may land on. This family has been through so much pain. They lost not one, but two amazing men. Let’s all come together and do what Michael would do..This family should be grieving the loss of two bright lights in their lives rather than worrying about the monetary expenses.
