We are celebrating the life of my father, Michael Harron — a truly wonderful man. He set the standard for how to be a good man, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, and a faithful follower of God. Mike was known as a man of the people — everyone’s loyal friend and a lifelong educator. He had so many talents it's hard to mention them all. He touched countless lives with his kindness, generosity, and faith. Anyone was welcome in our home, always treated like family, and we treasured many moments together over “snacks on the patio.”

He was born in England and later moved to Canada, where he met my mother and started our family, before eventually moving to Texas. His legacy of love, strength, and faith will continue to live on in all of us. My dad showed us that a beautiful life is possible if you are committed and willing to put in the work.

Since Dad’s passing, we have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and support. Many friends have offered to bring meals, and while we are grateful for every gesture, what would help most at this time is financial support for my mom. As a retired woman now facing life without her partner, managing ongoing monthly expenses is an overwhelming challenge.
