On November 20th, 2023 the world lost a great man, father, grandfather and friend to cancer. He was my father-in-law, Michael Hack. He lived a small life and gave everything he could to his son Matt, his granddaughter Logan and gave so much back to his community. He was a veteran and a social worker, working with disadvantaged people to help them get ahead. He loved the Mets, the NY Giants, professional wrestling and being a grandfather. Mike was very practical and although he had planned ahead for this sad time, it came far too soon. Unfortunately that means that there are cremation/funeral costs and planning that will be placed onto his only son Matt at a time where he is also helping care for our 2 week old daughter, Eliza. If there is any way for the community to help alleviate the costs of Mike’s untimely passing, we would greatly appreciate any amount. If you’re unable to donate, just sharing helps immensely. Any money earned over the goal will be put into savings accounts for his two granddaughters.
