Adam was 3,000 miles away when he received devastating news that his father had passed away unexpectedly.

Adam is a 26 year old, 5 year, Active Duty member of the United States Army and is only a few months into a 3 year deployment overseas. The costs of flying home with such urgency were more than most of us probably have in our savings accounts and Adam is left to face so much more heartache when he arrives. Adam is responsible for putting his father to rest and is the only child and sole heir to his father’s possessions; Along with any debt and taxes required to secure said possessions -including the family home where he was raised. There is no life insurance policy nor burial arrangements made before hand to aid in these services. Adam loves his daddy more than anything in this world and he exclaims that this is a hurt he has never known.
