We are all shocked, heartbroken and still processing Dr. Michael Paul Figueroa Fralick's sudden and unexpected death on February 1, 2026.

Mike was a kind and loving father, husband, brother and son... a thoughtful and generous friend... and an exceptional and inspirational doctor, scientist, colleague, mentor and teacher. He worked as an Associate Professor and Clinician Scientist in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Toronto. He touched the lives of many people and patients in Toronto, nearby communities and abroad.

Our hearts are shattered for his young family that he leaves behind - his wife Brittany and 2-year-old daughter Hailey. As we mourn this unimaginable loss, our focus is on supporting Mike's wife and baby daughter as best we can. Funds raised will be placed into an educational and support account for Hailey.

Mike was my best friend. I am organizing this on behalf of his wife and daughter. Funds will be directly deposited into their account.
