On February 26, 2023, Michael Fowler suffered a heart attack while at work and ended up in Massachusetts General Hospital, even though he insisted it was merely a "bad case of indigestion." Two stents were inserted via his wrist to relieve a 99% and 69% blockage. Recovery went well, and after a month-long absence from work, and out of paid sick time, the reluctant patent needs some financial assistance to help pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance ($2300.00), and to help with expenses incurred while out of work.
