Michael Dudek Jr. Medical & Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Hello everyone my name is Josh Garber. One of my best friends Joshua Dudek just recently lost his father to Covid and I have taken on the task of collecting donations to help ease the burden him and his family are going through. Written below is a message from Joshua. Thank you in advance for any donations contributed.
“The hearts of many friends and family are broken. The passing of Michael Dudek Jr. came as a shock to many after he was battling COVID pneumonia in the hospital for over a week and a half. He was improving by leaps and bounds until he experienced an unpredictable blood clot in his lungs that lead to cardiac arrest. Michael, or as many know him “Mick”, was raised in Norfolk VA and attended Virginia Wesleyan University as well as Old Dominion University. He then joined the Norfolk Sheriffs Office where he worked rotating twelve hour shifts. Although many knew him as a man of few words, Michael showed his genuine personality in every action that he took. He readily volunteered at a local middle school to coach wrestling and football with his natural competitive edge. Words fail to attest the true nature of Michael, leaving many to recollect on the infinite fond memories that he left behind. His most valued achievement will reside in his four children: Alexis, Joshua, Jacob, and Patrick. In remembrance of Michael, his family plans to have a funeral to celebrate his life and mourn the loss of such a pure character. Any donation made will be used to alleviate the burden of copious medical and funeral expenses his family will endure.
‘Just know this is not goodbye. I’ll see you later, Mick’”
