My name is Eileen and I am creating this GoFundMe in honor of my Dad, Michael DeOssie.

On Wednesday, June 30th, 2021 My Mom & I along with our family suffered an immense loss. My Dad, Michael DeOssie, a loyal husband, dad, brother, uncle, friend, veteran and church leader passed away very unexpectedly on a church camping trip that took place in Utah. Everyone was suppose to come home the following day. For us this wasn’t the case. My Dad, Mike was only 65 years of age and was planning to retire this September on his birthday. His passing will cause a deprivation on his dear wife Gloria, my Mom.

My Dads life revolved around his dearest wife Gloria and myself, his Daughter. My Dad & Mom would have shared their 30th Anniversary this December. This was something in fact I was already making plans for, and excited to put together for them. Mike and Gloria were each others person and best friend. They not only made one another better but stronger. Never a race on who did more, they truly were equals. The relationship between my Dad and I was also close. For anyone who has known me, knows I’ve always been daddy’s girl. The bond we shared was one of a kind. We weren’t just Dad & Daughter but we became friends. We both were in so many ways alike and shared the love for cars and creating. If we weren’t making things for each other, we were making them for other people. I am proud to always be his daughter.

This GoFundMe is being made to not only help with putting together a well deserved Memorial service, purchasing of flowers, but coming together as a community to contribute in his honor if you are unable to be there for his service, but wish to be apart of it in some manner. Anything you can gift in his tribute will be very much appreciated.
