Hi everyone, I am Michael’s mom. Let me tell you a tragic story. Michael is one of the sweetest, most caring, good vibes person you will ever meet. On January 4, his entire world turned upside down when he got a call at work his house was on fire with his animals in it! He called me as soon as he got in the car and flew to house trying to get there in time to save them. When he got there we could hear him running up the road screaming to the emergency personnel, “Get my dog out, get Kalo out, he’s around the back by the door! I don’t care about anything else just PLEASE get Kalo out!”, and then it disconnected…. he had gotten too far from his car. That was the absolute WORST 40 minutes of my life as a mom trying to get to my son not knowing what was going on. When we got there, Michael was hysterically crying and in disbelief that his furrbabies were being suffocated and burned to death and nobody tried to save Kalo who was in a kennel right by the sliding glass door in the BACK. Since the fire, two different neighbors have told us they told the firemen Michael’s dog was inside barking and crying trying to get out and they didn’t even attempt to rescue him! We are trying to raise money for him to cremate his amazing “best friend”, Kalo and his 2 cats he’s had since they were babies, Hazel & Kale, memory urns for him, deposit and first months rent for another place, electric deposit, personal hygiene, necessities, clothes, furniture, etc. We know no amount possible could bring back his loved ones but we can show him LOVE and support and try and help him slowly get back on his feet. His furrbabies and every possession he owned burned to the ground and he’s left feeling empty. Please show Michael your support and LOVE while he tries to piece his life back together. It will take some time but little step by little step he will move forward. R. I.P Kalo, Hazel and Kale. We You Michael, Mom and Daddy Pat!
