Hello my name is Cecily Grajeda, and I am raising money for my dad’s funeral expenses.
Michael was somebody you will never forget. He was well known, like a local celebrity everywhere we went, and I am so proud to call him my dad! He had to deal with tragedy at a young age, and his feelings of weakness & powerlessness motivated him to get strong. He encouraged, inspired, and loved every single person in his life. My dad shared his many gifts with the world, but the best one was love. My dad brought such positive energy everywhere he went. He believed we were put on the earth to help each other.
He opened up a gym just one week after I was born and that was New Fitness where I grew up for the next 13 years. I adored all of his clients & they adored me, and we became family. My dad was a true master at his craft. He competed in bodybuilding competitions, taught every exercise class imaginable, saved and healed people through nutrition and fitness, was a personal trainer who would always push you to be your best, lived for God, and was a mentor and somebody you could talk to forever about everything and anything. He was at the schools Royal Oaks, Redwood, and VCIS helping kids get interested in working out. But aside from all of of this, he will be most remembered for the extraordinary man that he was!
Feb. 18th 2022, God gained a strong angel way too soon. It’s been a complete shock, and I am left picking up pieces of my heart. I am overwhelmed with joy and comfort by everyone’s support, prayers, & kind words. I know my dad is looking down on us with that big, infectious smile. I would love to give my dad a celebration of life he deserves. He will always be a superhero in my heart!
