Michael D. & Valerie keep their home

Michael D. is a husband, father, grandfather and professional storyteller and educator.

Last fall, Michael D. received the shocking news that the arts organization that he'd been contracting through to teach storytelling workshops to inmates throughout California had suddenly lost the contract. This cut off 70% of Michael's income.

Fast forward nearly a year later and Valerie and Michael are struggling to pay their mortgage due to his loss of income. Coming off of a two + year struggle to heal from prostrate cancer and in need of knee surgeries that he is currently fighting the VA to be able to get, Michael in his early 70s needs our help!
