Those in the pipeline industry and other industries, his mates, and everyone who worked alongside him—this is our way of honouring Ox. Whether it helps rebuild his beloved machines, supports those he left behind, or simply ensures there’s always a gin and tonic poured in his name, we give in tribute to a true mate. He gave so much with nothing but the best intentions, a heart of gold and a goofy grin.

Ox Man strong, with a pipeline of dreams,

Always working on his beloved machines.

A Massey Ferguson, a wrench in hand,

He built his life upon the land.

 

Bigger than life, salt of the earth,

A mate who showed his endless worth

He’d dig deep, he’d always show,

A kind heart, we were lucky to know.

 

With engines scattered near and far,

Each one a mission—no job too hard.

A wealth not counted in gold or schemes,

But in rusted steel and working dreams.

 

From dusty roads to outback mobs,

From all the boys on all the jobs,

We’ll raise a glass—a gin and lime—

To honour our mate, one of a kind.
