Hi there! Chloe Budd & Conor Delaney here.

We are reaching out to our friends and family in the hopes that we can raise some funds for our cousin Michael. Michael lives in Lahaina, HI, which has been completely devastated by the massive wildfire. He has lost everything - his house, belongings, and 2 pet rabbits. He is currently taking shelter at his work, separated from his partner and their families, unable to leave due to National Guard and police restrictions/barricades.

Anything you can give would be deeply appreciated - we'd love to be able to give him even a little financial relief as he recovers and they start to put their lives back together after this awful situation.

We will be sure to post any updates as we receive them from my Uncle Dale, who is also in Hawaii but luckily was not in the path of the fires.

"I wish there was a way to express my gratitude to each person who contributed to Michael Crabtree’s GoFundMe account. But I know that’s an impossibility. If it were possible, I would thank you from the very bottom of my heart and assure you that your generous gift will be used wisely.

Michael knows that, in spite of everything, he has been so fortunate, first and foremost, simply to be alive. At the time his house was burning like hundreds of others, Wendy was in Oahu and he a mile or two away at the Ka’anapali resort where he has worked for years. With the exception of his beloved pet rabbits, the majority of the things that were destroyed by the fire were simply that - things. Things can be replaced, and your donations will allow that to happen soon.
