Michael Corcoran’s Legacy Fund

This is a fund created by Michael’s coworkers at Kaiser Vallejo to commemorate his life. This gofundme was approved by his wife Jessica and the money donated will ultimately go towards their children Nora and Cole’s college fund.

Michael was a lover of the outdoors and did a fair share of hiking/trail running before returning to road biking earlier this year. Sadly, on the morning of August 21st Michael was involved in a tragic accident while riding his road bike in the outskirts of Vacaville.

Michael was an incredible husband to Jessica and an amazing father to Nora and Cole. Every shift without a doubt, Michael would show us pictures and videos of his family. Whether it be hiking at a local trail system or exploring around Disneyland it was a treat to see a glimpse of his family life. Michael always wore a smile, in photographs and in person daily.

We knew we could count on Michael 100% each and every shift. He was willing to pick up overtime and help the department often, even with 2 small children and a wife at home. The skills he learned over the years working in Emergency Medical Services benefitted us here at Kaiser Vallejo greatly. His willingness to help both staff and patients will be remembered most. He came to work each and every day with a smile on his face and his mood uplifted the department daily. There’s a hole in our hearts and also the department without Michael being here. He will be deeply missed each and every shift.
