I'm here to raise awareness and ask for any help that my brother in law and his family can get. I'm not one to ask for help, and neither is he, being the proud Marines that we both are, but he's in a time of need and I hope that the community can come together to assist.
Early Sunday morning November 16, Michael Caudill's house caught fire while him, his wife, and three sons were sleeping. Chaos ensued. Their middle son was forced to jump from a window while the oldest son struggled to find his way downstairs through the smoke. All five people made it out of the house, miraculously, but lost everything.
Michael's wife and oldest son are currently still in the hospital, recovering from burns and smoke inhalation. Their oldest son is currently sedated and on a breathing tube.
Michael and his wife Crystal are parents of three sons, ages 5, 9, and 15, and their lives will forever be changed by this tragedy. I hope that we can ease the transition back into normalcy.
