I'm writing for my nephew, Michael Briggs, whose apartment in the home of his brother Rich (and Faith) Briggs was destroyed by fire early this morning. The house is a total and overwhelming loss for all three of them, which is heartbreaking after all their work reclaiming and renovating that grand old tourist house on Big Hollow Road.

Michael has lost all his possessions except for the one thing he was able to save - his cat! Anything anyone can give to help Michael would be greatly appreciated. A separate GofundMe page for Rich and Faith was posted earlier today. Thank you in advance for your concern and community support.
