On August 16th 2023 my mom rushed my dad into the ER with the concern of a heart attack. Doctors confirmed my dad was having a heart attack called the widow maker. It was so serious he had to be flown in the night by a helicopter, to have a sudden quadruple bypass surgery at the early age of 47. My dad fought hard and was determined to get better and slowly but surely he was. My family was so hopeful and my mom was even preparing their home for when he would finally be able to return.

On August 23rd, 2023 at 3:37 am in the morning I received the worst phone call I have ever received from my mom who is devastated by the loss of not only her husband, but her best friend for over 20 years, that he coded and passed away.

My family is devastated and heartbroken, and that is putting it lightly. Brandon left this world behind leaving his 7 year old son, 19 year old daughter, and my mom at home now having to navigate life without him.

Brandon was the sole provider for the household as my mom is a stay at home mom because my beautiful baby brother is nonverbal autistic with sensory processing disorder which does require her to be hands on 24/7. Besides that fact, my mom has an autoimmune and auto inflammatory disease which has limited her mobility severely.

Without my dad (Brandon) income is now going to be completely diminished and sadly life doesn’t stop and neither does bills. They were never able to have medical or life insurance either, they lived paycheck to paycheck. Without the income, there is even the possibility of losing the house that is on a mortgage.

I'm creating this on behalf of my family, they need help just long enough until we can figure things out. Myself (Lexi) and my sister Mikayla can only do so much as we have our own bills but we refuse to let my mom drown.
