Michael Bowers recovery fund

Monday April 4th around 6 AM my brother Michael Bowers was in a automobile accident. With the cold temperatures and recent rainy conditions the road unfortunately was covered in black ice, causing the vehicles to lose control. My brother suffered many serious injuries including broken ribs, punctured lung, internal bleeding,broken hip and pelvis and more. He has already undergone 3 surgeries, 2 to reconstruct his pelvis/hip that were 6+hrs. His recovery will be long and extensive with future surgery and a long hospital stay for therapy among other things. Michael is currently in the ICU in Syracuse 2 hrs from his home. His wife Amanda is currently staying in Syracuse to be by his side, resulting in a lapse of income. Unfortunately travel expenses, rooming, hospital bills, therapy among all the other small expenses and every day bills will add up. Anyone who knows Michael and Amanda know they never ask for anything and would rather give to others. My hopes for setting this up is to help ease their stress financially any that WE can so they can focus on Michaels healing and recovery without the added worry from finances. Michael is healing with each passing day and before we know it he will be out hunting, fishing and enjoying life again, but for now thank you for helping him and Amanda when they are in need. If you are unable to help financially sending healing thoughts or prayers his way is always just as important.

*please be mindful of his family, we are all still processing the last week. For his and his family’s privacy I did not go into strong detail as we have not fully processed the accident ourselves.
