I am fund raising for Karen and Michael Berry. Michael, the kindest and gentlest person you might ever meet, suffered salmonella poising in the blood through a wound created by a procedure done on his leg. He was emitted to urgent care about March 8th. The poising damaged his kidneys and heart. As of March 15th, he is now been taken of a ventilator and he is breathing on his own. He is also coming out of the drug and infection induced stupor. This is a positive sign that they are making headway on killing the infection.

Karen will probably kill me for doing this, BUT: she cannot go to work at this time because she needs to be at the hospital to be Michael's advocate and support. The hospital is a 45 minute drive for her each way. We all know how much gas costs in California.

If you can contribute a tank of gas for her; I would be so grateful and I will be forwarding her every penny. I am setting this fund raiser up under my name because I don't have her social security number, which GoFundMe requires.
