Michael battles Leukaemia.
Donation protected
Hi my name is Chelsea O’Meara and we are trying to raise some much needed funds to help Mick with the biggest fight of his life.
Michael enjoys sailing, fishing, AFL and spending family time with his daughters Jasmine and Madeline, his wife Karen and his pets. He is a loyal friend, a staff member at Good Samaritan and he loves being a part of the local Bli Bli community.
Mick has been diagnosed with T-Cell Accute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. (T-ALL) This life changing blood cancer diagnosis means that he will undergo at least 6 months Chemo Treatment, alternating between extremely dangerous and toxic cycles of intense chemotherapy all with there own long lists of risks and side effects. Then, if all goes well Mick will start the Bone Marrow transplant process.
Michael would like to encourage everyone who wants to help to donate blood or platelets at Red Cross as there is a major shoratage of blood in QLD Health. Also any small donations will help him and his family navigate through the next year while recovering at home between hospital stays.
The team at SCHU 5D, TACC and the Leukaemia foundation have been a great support to the Pryor family.
Please give what you can and help Mick and his girls.
