It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this.
Michael DePinto was born on March 22nd, 1993. He passed away on Sunday, November 25th, 2018. He was only twenty-five years old.
Michael was a kind, funny and intelligent man. He always tried to make others feel good about themselves, and never hesitated to be a friend to those in need. Despite his goodness, like many, our dear friend Michael struggled with depression and addiction for many years. That is why, in his name, we are starting a fundraiser for charity. Although Michael's life has been cut short by these terrible circumstances, we hope that his experience will provide meaning and hope to others who still have a chance.
All donations will go to support CFC Loud N Clear Foundation. Located in New Jersey, Loud N Clear works with those recovering from addiction and their families to provide a framework for success in maintaining a sober lifestyle. They are a grassroots organization that seeks to "fill the gap" in recovery, by providing post-rehabilitation support that inspires hope to those who struggle with addiction.
Let us remember Michael Depinto as a friend, a brother, a son, a peer and a beautiful soul. He will never be forgotten. If you knew Michael, know anyone who struggles with addiction or just want to support the cause, please help donate to those who need it.
