Hi, my name is Gina. On August 20, 2023, there was a massive fire in the apartment complex that my Cousin, his fiancé and her daughter live in. The fire took out at least four units completely and heavily impacted many more, my cousin’s being one of them. Although their apartment did not catch fire, all of their furniture, clothes, food and personal items have been destroyed from smoke and soot damage contaminating the entire apartment. As of today, it is an unlivable space leaving my cousin and his family to worry about how they will be able to afford putting back together their home that they worked so hard to build.

It is always hard asking for help and if you know my cousin Michael personally, you would know that he is the type of person to do whatever he can on his own to get through any situation thrown his way. In times like these, he shouldn't have to. No one is ever prepared for something like this and I know it’s cliché but even the smallest amount will help. Please consider donating whatever you can.
