*OFFICIAL FAMILY PAGE*Mike (Tony as I like to call him) was an amazing human. He was a fun little brother who always knew how to get me in trouble. He loved baseball, riding on the tractor, trail riding on the three wheeler, decorating the house for Christmas with his buddies, amongst other things...
He loved his friends dearly. When he told stories of his friends, his face lit up with the memories. It always made me smile.
In 2008 Tony met the love of his life, Rebecca. She always made him smile and always had his back. Together they raised two beautiful daughters in a loving family. He was the proudest dad I knew.
Most of you know he wasn't the healthiest person. In 2005 he was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which almost took his life. That is also the year our dad passed away. Later on he developed diabetes which, for him, was hard to manage. We then lost our mom in 2018. He didn't have the best immune system. So when Covid showed up in 2019, he and his family tried their best to protect him from the virus. When the vaccine finally came out, he, like so many other people, was afraid of the potential complications and side effects. He was already so sick with a weakened immune system... He was scared.
On May 12, 2021 he lost his battle with Covid. He was 42.
We were by his side when he quietly passed away.
People have started to ask us, " What can I do?"
Rebecca and I are starting this page for family and friends that are looking to help in a positive way.
Honestly, we could use any monetary donations to help with the upfront costs of his unexpected funeral expenses. Any additional monies will go directly to his 3 girls. I will see to that.
Tony touched so many lives. We never realized it until now...
We love you all so very much.
Thank you kindly,
Rebecca (Fiancé)
and
Tara (Sister)
