Michael Andrew Fuentes Memorial Scholarship Fund

My name is Chuck Norman and I'm helping my big sister (Jacqueline) and niece (Madeline) realize an important desire their husband and father (Michael) had for his only child.

One of his last wishes he shared with his daughter Madeline was that he wanted her to go to college. To honor this, we are requesting that friends and family who would normally share their love and generosity through gifts of flowers for his service, make a donation to Madeline's college fund in lieu of flowers.

This gift will last forever rather than a few days and she/they will always know that everyone in their lives contributed to her future on her father's behalf. Jacqueline and Madeline love their friends and family dearly and we couldn't think of of a better way to honor Michael than to play a small role in helping realize a dream he had for his precious daughter.

Michael was a great husband, father, son in law (he took care of our precious mother for year's like she was his own) and provider but unfortunately has been battling cancer for more than a decade, yet COVID prematurely ended his time with us on earth. If you've ever lived with family or friends that have battled cancer, you know how emotionally and financially draining it is. With only a short time left before Madeline starts applying for schools, scholarships and other financial aid, we felt like this was the perfect tribute to show our love for Michael, Madeline and Jacqueline to not only honor him but ease the significant financial burden ahead and offer a little head start in the process.

We know the last 18 months have been difficult for so many and also know that some may not be able to contribute much financially if at all while others may choose to more significantly honor Michael in this way. We ask that you not feel obligated to participate but if you choose to, thank you so much! If you are unable to, please shower Madeline and Jacqueline with as much love and prayers as you can.

There really is no short term timetable as to when this needs to be done, but Jacqueline will manage whatever is raised and use it all for Madeline's education.
