Michael and Mac need our help with college tuition

We are in a pickle.  Mac's dad, Michael Cross, has been a patient at the University of Kansas Medical Center Surgical Intensive Care Unit since April 27.  He experienced complications following cancer surgery and our lives have been thrown into such uncertainty and disarray.  Mac is enrolled as a sophomore engineering student at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri.   He is scheduled to begin classes next week.  His Dad would normally have made arrangements for the financing necessary to pay Mac's tuition this fall, and his inability to do so has left Mac in a precarious spot regarding his education. 

Mac has such big dreams and he's well on his way.  He finished his first year at Rockhurst with a 3.53 GPA and was slated to play baseball for them last spring until Covid-19 led to the season being cancelled.  He has some academic scholarships, but they do not cover the total amount needed to pay his expenses.  He would use any funds raised to pay directly for his school-related expenses, such as tuition and books.
