Michael and Kim O'Farrell, a Love Story

Michael and Kim have been married for more than 25 years. They've had plenty of good times, but recently they've been hit with a double dose of health issues.

For many years, Kim cheered on Michael as he worked long hours making mustard at a local factory. She made sure he never missed a meal, and he made sure they always had plenty of mustard. However, their lives hit a snag when Kim was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer over a year ago. With the encouragement of Michael, Kim found a doctor she trusted and entered the difficult journey toward recovery, which included chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation. After all her work, she received the positive news that the cancer is in remission.

However, shortly after receiving the happy news, Michael found out that he has stage 4 colon cancer. So, now he must enter the arduous journey into the maze of cancer treatment. He’s off to a rocky start as he's made trips to the emergency room and spent almost a week in the hospital. He hates that he can no longer work. He misses his friends and coworkers and the work itself. He hopes to be back, but for now, they need your help.
