My cousin Michael, his wife Ashley, and their four kids lost everything they own in a house fire tonight. Ashley is currently hospitalized due to smoke inhalation from trying to rescue the family pets. The kids and Michael are staying in a hotel tonight with the clothes on their back. I’m heartbroken for my cousin and his family, especially with Christmas right around the corner. I’m currently in the process of collecting clothes and shoes for the kids, including coats, boots, hats, and gloves. Michael and Ashley will need clothing too. I plan to contact Toys for Tots, but if you have any information about putting the kids ages 14, 12, 5, and 4 on any Christmas giving trees, please let me know.
