Michael Allen's Cremation

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Joshua Allen.

On the morning of May 3rd, 2023 my father Michael Allen passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 61. For many years he had been suffering from pain due to working very hard to provide for his family, in November of 2002 he had suffered 2 strokes and an aortic aneurysm but recovered, and still pressed on to provide for his family for 7 more years until he could no longer work due to the demanding physical attributes of his work. It wasn't until 2022 When his health turned for the worse and in November, with many hospital visits throughout that year, it was discovered he had cancer. From November 2022 til May of 2023 He has been to various rehabilitation/care centers until finally his body could not take anymore pain and he went to sleep one last time.

My dad was a remarkable and very caring man. He could be a bit rude from time to time, but with everything he has been through it's amazing he smiled and laughed throughout it all. He was caring and courteous and made sure to laugh and joke with others, even those he did not know. If you heard him laugh, you would know, he had a very contagious belly laugh if something tickled him just right. Knew all there was about movies, trains, golf, stamps, he had 2 children and a wonderful wife and family for 40 years. He grew up in Stockton CA, lived briefly in Idaho then for the rest of his days lived in the Sacramento County area. I could spend all day writing about the many lives he's touched and the happiness he brought others but these are the points I felt to focus on.

The reason I am making this Gofundme is to give my dad the dignity he deserves, we want to cremate him and bring him home. Especially since he has not been home for the last 6+ months. I hope that you will consider donating so that We can bring him this final bit of respect and peace I feel he deserves. I loved my dad very much despite the typical headbutting a son and father share.

If you are unable to donate, that is perfectly alright. Times are tough for all and I simply ask that you share on your social media platforms to get the word out.

Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this message and I hope I can accomplish this goal.
