Micca's funeral fund

Hi everyone, I'm Fiona, Micca's great (well average but aspiring to be better) niece.  As I'm sure all of you who knew and loved him are aware, he was charming, funny, intelligent and just a little inattentive to detail at times.  In true Micca style had made the most of his savings whilst he was alive to enjoy them with his trips to see friends and loved ones around the world and generally in  making his own brand of merry mischief.  Unfortunately he had also let his life insurance lapse.  His spontaneity and joie de vivre were some of the things that we all loved about him but it has now left his family in the difficult position of  finding the funds for his funeral on the 11th June (which you are all invited to via webcast  - link to follow when I have it).

  What I was wondering was if any of you who had been considering sending flowers or making a donation for him might consider contributing towards to funeral costs instead? It would be much appreciated and I'm sure that were he here, he would offer you a swig from his hip flask in thanks whilst assuring you that your sight would probably return eventually.

Whether you can contribute or not, thank you all for being part of his life.  I know he had friends all around the world and that they meant the whole world to him.
