Hi, I’m Paul Nelson and I'm fund raising to help my 11 year old son be the best Kart racer he can be and to help him realise his potential.

Micah has been indoor Karting for coming up to 12 months now and shortly after achieving his ‘Advanced License’ he entered and won his first Cadet League Series by what turned out to be a comfortable 15 points. Best 6 races, included 6 podiums, 2 wins (almost 4 wins), 3 second places and a third together with 3 fastest laps . . . all without any outside assistance/coaching (well perhaps an enthusiastic Dad).

We are starting to explore out door Karting now but with that also comes more expense . . . so we are hopeful a few generous people will want to share in Micah’s Journey. We will of course continue with Indoor Karting especially over the winter and hope to be able to invest in a Sim Racing set up too to help further with his development.

Micah has just won his first outdoor karting race in the Group B race and last week he managed to get a silver medal in the Group A final (against cadets that have been racing on this circuit for 2-3 years) part of a 6 race series so look out for more. Micah is currently sitting in 4th place out of 18 drivers.

Any funds raised will be directly used to pay for equipment Race gear etc, race entry fees (some are as high as £265 per event), some one to one coaching and perhaps a full Simulator set up - All Karting related.
