On Sunday, September 20th at 11:27am, the world lost another good one when Micah Shane Horton Sr. went home to be with the Lord. While this is an incredibly saddening time for anyone that knew Micah, we hope that peace can be found in knowing that he is now healed.
Whether you knew Micah as a dedicated police officer, a caring and compassionate friend, a quick-witted colleague or an unforgettable member of the family, he and the memories he helped to create will not soon be forgotten. If you spent more than a minute talking with Micah, it was highly likely that the conversation included his two sons, Micah Shane and Spencer. One of Micah's most admirable qualities was his unwavering devotion to his two boys and the passion he put behind ensuring that they had anything and everything that they needed to be successful.
Though Micah is no longer with us here on earth, we want to pick up his torch and continue to support these boys in bigger and better endeavors throughout their life.
